curiosity unlocked

as i told you yesterday, today i went to Bogor by commuter line train with Riza and Fani. first, i have never ridden a commuter line train before, second, it is my first trip to Bogor enjoying the city view and the foods. the trip was absolutely hilarious and memorable. here are some moments captured on my camera.

• commuter-line train ticket. pondokranji - bogor

 • economy class train. famously defined by the bright orange color

 • first station, pondok ranji.

 • hangers

 • old man and a boy i met at Stasiun Manggarai. still waiting for their train to come

 • inside the train
• Stasiun Bogor, finally

• Kedai Kita, the comfy one. i ate Nasi Kerang Saus Padang here as lunch

• stack of cheesecakes at Kedai Kita. seems so yummy but i was too full to have a bite of this

 • Fani's lunch: Mie Ayam Cah Jamur. served in jumbo size

• Ketan Bambu booth at Macaroni Panggang Bogor. MP is quiet popular in Bogor, people usually bought the macaroni here as a present from Bogor. the macaroni panggang is so tasteful

• Riza & Moi

• Riza & Fani

• PIA Apple-Pie, we bought a medium sized one

• Es Goyobod. this traditional beverage served in so cute way

**
it was my first time doing some new things at once after a long while. since it was pretty pleasant, i promise to do this kind of thing again. and again. and again.

 catch you later.

happy valentine's day too

since i don't celebrate valentine, me and my classmate fellows had planned something we'll do on the valentine's day. we're gonna cook something special! it was me, fani, flo, hesty, dita, sida, and mita. we went to the supermarket to buy everything we need after the last class, we decided to make macaroni schotel and choco pudding. there was only me that ever tried to make macaroni schotel before this, everyone else was on their first time trying, so i tried my best to remember the ingredients and the steps. we bought elbow macaroni, milk, eggs, beef, onion, and garlic, then a pouch of instant pudding powder and wafers.

it's kinda different when you cook something all by yourself and  when you cook with someones else. more hands, more brains, more curiosities and more egos of course. the process were full of laugh. thanks to mita whose kindly lent us her magic oven on this practice. if you use a digital oven, the process would take only 25 mins long, so different when we used this "magic" manual oven, it approximately took 2 hours of waiting :-| and finally, after ages, yeah, the schotel's done! it's pretty delicious thou' dita and fani said we need to pour more salt.

• Baked Macaroni Schotel

• Choco Pudding with Wafers

i am so thankful of having such good friends like them, so sorry that we didn't take picture of ourselves :[ but it's okay then. feel so wealthy of having a healthy body, mind and soul, and accompanied by soooo many people those come with sincere kindness o:-) we have to do something like this even more. i am so ready for the next kitchen session!

by tomorrow, i will be on a short trip to Bogor with riza and fani. it will be my first time of riding another kind of public transport in Jakarta. it's been a long while since the last time i tried to do something for the first time, i couldn't be more enthusiast!!! hope the weather will be okay me and my trip tomorrow be marvelous :-)

sentimental heart

there's nothing to do with keep questioning people why they do something bad (bad based on our point of view). since everybody was born, we always have a chance to do everything we want, to get everything we need, to be someone we want to be. but then it can't be as simple as doing everything upon our will only. there are people out there either directly or indirectly affected by what we've done somewhere else. sometime it is us who don't realize what's going on out there after making decision or taking steps.
people said that we have to learn maintaining what we do in order not to make people be aggrieved. i just don't think so, i think to please everyone is to chase rainbow. it's just they are being too sensitive and taking everything too seriously. just don't be too sensitive.
do what you wanna do, it's not fault that people be hurt. they're just being too sentiment.

what can you do with the sentimental heart?

sipping hot tea, i present you a morning greeting from Jakarta.
Good morning, have a nice day :-)
